Dr. Kenny Brown is originally from West Valley City, UT and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science while attending Brigham Young University. Through personal experience with athletics, he developed an interest in physical therapy.
Dr. Brown moved to Arizona to attend Franklin Pierce University where he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Through is love of sports he has gained an interest in orthopedics and sports injuries with plans to become certified as an orthopedic and/or a sports clinical specialist.
Dr. Brown comes to Arizona Medial and Sports Rehab after having worked for Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation in Gilbert, Arizona, and Meier & Marsh Professional Therapies in Tooele, Utah, where he was able to gain experience working with orthopedic and sports injuries of athletes of all ages. During this time, he worked as a physical therapist directly treating athletes from Benedictine University in Mesa, Arizona and from the local high schools. Dr. Brown believes there is an athlete in everyone whether it is the individual that walks around the grocery store with knee pain or the collegiate football player with a torn ligament, and he is willing to help each individual reach their full potential following injury or general discomfort. Dr. Brown has found dry needling to be an effective tool in relieving acute and chronic conditions. He is certified to perform dry needling for the head, neck, upper back, and upper extremities.
Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys sports, specifically football and baseball, traveling with his family, and trying new restaurants.
